Another small update: Put a K&N air filter on in place of the friggin' foam mattress that comes as standard. MY GOD. Immediate difference. Car absolutely takes off now.

Update, and a happy ending (touch wood). Collected the car from TM Motors yesterday. They fitted a brand new MAF and crankshaft position sensor (I had purchased second hand ones but not had time to fit, took them down with the car but they refused to touch them). This fixed the rough idle...

I've now delivered it to TM Motors. I got told off for swapping out the camshaft sensor myself!! It was one Torx bolt and a plastic clip!

Further observation: I get no 'chirp' from the alarm when I use the fob to lock the car/arm it. Should I? I don't get it on the Scooby either so have got used to not listening out for one.

Oh and fuel filter - no idea. Just ordered a MAF, if that makes no difference then I'll do fuel filter next.
