    Help and Advice greatly appreciated....

Finally settled for £15.5k. The process has dragged out a bit but getting £500 more has been worth it. Thanks for everyone's encouragement. As regards to a new car...I'm still undecided, but the 300TD should see me right for a few more miles yet :-)

Just to let you know, after their first offer (£11.5k) and my rejection, the insurance company have revalued the car at £15k. I'm going to try my luck again, and ask them to find an EVO 8 for that price. I know they won't be able to, so I'll see if they can give me a bit more. You don't get...

    Highway Code

I challenge all those people who haven't read a copy for ages to pick one up (they cost a couple of quid) and have a read. It's amazing how much you will have forgotten you knew! ;)

    £63,000 Skoda...

Cool - so what is the highest level of protection you can get for standard road cars? And what can it and can't it withstand? I couldn't find the definition of B6 in the highway code - bless.

    £63,000 Skoda...

BTT Would that thing withstand a proper bullet from a proper rifle. I'm thinking a .30 cal from the M44 or a .50 cal from Browning? Or would it need to be B7 for that? Anyway...we all know the 300TD is bomb proof.

    Highway Code

When was the last time you read a copy of the highway code? The last time I read it was when I did my test - years ago. So I picked a copy up over Christmas and read it - it's amazing the information I'd forgotten. I think we all see lots of 'bad' driving. But what amzes me, is the amount...

    Opinions on M5s please

Well after driving a couple of M5s in my price range they all appear to be a bit tatty around the edges - perhaps I'm expecting too much. So the debate continues......what about an earlier RS6? Although at that price I could probably get an AMG. Oh this is hard work....... Nice...

Anybody Know what this is for?

Tracking device used by Government agencies under covert surveillance situations. If memory serves me right it will have a serial number starting with #54tg67a*****. If you check underneath and it says #54tg67b***** then don't put it near a heat source, as it is invariably the self destruct...
