Had a price from my local trusted mechanic, he said the manifold Genuine was £350 and he wanted another 400 or so to swap it, which sounds a bit pricey to me.

Hi All I have an SLK 250 CDI (R172) 2012, the inlet manifold has a crack in it causing it to over fuel, does anyone know what the MB part number for this is, I want to try and find a pattern part if possible that will fit, but there seem to be a lot out there that claim to fit s want to be sure...

The Sat nav is good but overall 4.7 has been a let down for me, wasn't worth the £2400 MB charged as an option for it...

Thanks Alfie, as you guys fitted my camera, I wouldnt want to undo anything you've done, am not about to rush into this but it seems like a good mod to improve Comand ?

I am also assuming it doesnt wipe out anything on Comand, so you enter it by pressing C and when you exit it you're back to Comand..

Was abotb $1000 Aus, so £500 ish...then you need to get it fitted if you dont want to do it yourself @ Alfie, is this something you guys at Comand are looking at doing some time in the future?

Thanks, but I guess overall it improves the system, I've always thought Comand had a lot of potential but it was never exploited, you go to the MB website and there a literally no apps for it, it could do so much more... disappointing really so would be good to bring mine up to day (even tho...

Does anyone know anything about this? had it done? if so what were the results like? NAVIPLUS. COM.AU. Richard @ Comand Online in my opinion is the expert on this sort of stuff, hopefully he may have some advice on this sort of stuff ?

I've just had mine done under warranty, stealer was reluctant to do it but I forced the issue and after a few firm words they did it

Why don't main dealers fix things any more... On top of the on going noisy fuel pump that blights the SLK range... I have Issues with a plastic insert at the top of the filler neck, it has a habit of coming adrift from it's fixing and jamming at an obscure angle once the fuel cap is put in place...

Guess what, the noisy fuel pump is back! it's slowly been getting noiser over the last few months, asked the stealer to look at it at the service in Nov, which they didnt as they only had the car 2 hours, nor did they update the sat nav maps as they were asked to either, but that's another...

Insurance + Satisfactory repair? like when did that ever happen, from experience Insurance companies get the cheapest job done they can... every insurance job I have had although looking good when you drive away after a few years has looked awful and just happens to be out of their warranty on...
