Thanks again. Yepp perhaps im better of by just buying a standalone GPS. In that case i can use it in any of my cars. As you say, the unit in my car is quite old and i also like the look of the unit since it is MB original. So i would avoid replacing it with an aftermarket unit..

Thanks for your replies! It seems as if i have the NTG2 since i do not have the SD-slot above the cd reader. Would i need to upgrade the firmware on this unit to before getting a CD? Is the NTG2 a decent unit or will it be a waste of money updating the maps?

Thanks for straightening this out Curator. You are 100% correct and my problem is NOT with the volume of the sound, but the quality of the sound when i play music through my phone that is connected to the AUX-port. The same phone/cable setup is being used in my Skoda and there it works...

Yepp it is the same on my car. I have however tried fiddling with the bass and treble settings without any luck. I also tried to run the same settings on AUX as on the radio setting, but it still sounds crappy.
