Took my W124 E250D to Mackies Transmissions in Tollcross Glasgow for an Autobox service. Picked it up later and drove home to Motherwell, happy Bear :)

OM605, thats the very one, clean as a whistle no leaks. On top of the main fuel filter there is a black plastic cap that says "stop" on it with a directional arrow. Does this shut off the fuel? Also where is the pre fuel filter situated? Many thanks :)

Been there and done it, don't worry, the AA cleared my tank out on my VW 2 litre Camper van and I filled it with diesel and it ran as if nothing had ever happened. Smells of petrol for a few hours but no issues at all. ATB John
