My car has picked up 1000's of tiny tar spots up both sides over the winter,whats the best way of removing them without damaging the paintwork

its a 2007 with 28,000 miles

problem solved the n/s rear spring has snapped oops they even got one in at the mb dealer getting fitted in the morning

i have noticed over the last couple of weeks a strange hollow boom from the near side rear over bumps or braking only at low speeds 3-30 mph its like something is rolling around in the boot quite intermittent .its starting to bub me now any ideas welcome....?????

does unfortunately sound like you have a problem had mine from September last year with 18,000 on it the dealer had put 2 Michelin on the front just up to 28,000 now and they are half worn the continental on the back are the same.

i had the same problem until i replaced the wipers,when i took the old ones off i cleaned the screen with nail varnish remover then auto glym glass polish perfect now ....must be done before the new ones go on

You MUST be too nice a man Ted not to get annoyed very easy or if you eat more carrots your eyes will get more sensitive to light.....lol

What about the special one's who think they look good in a car when the front fogs are always on rain or shine.......???? or they may instead of looking forward be searching or road kill at the roadside......lol

Sounds like your dealer is bulling you ,mine has continental sport contact 2 fitted no noise at all,you could try test driving another one. The dealer should be only too happy to prove they all do it..!!

my drivers door has got a slight rattle going over bumps- does anyone know if my mb dealer will sort it under warranty , only had the car 2 months
