Howard, sorry didn't get back been busy. I would so love to buy just the back box but I had my car checked and the the whole section from the cats needs replacing. So it looks like I'm going to have to fork out on a new system from cats to tail pipe :mad:

Cool, My CLK 430 is Avantgarde, but my tail pipe had a chrome tailpipe piece. How much do you want? I have been in touch with a MB dealer and I have to buy the system from the cats onwards.

Tried GSF and they cannot help me due to my car being a 1999 W208 model and they only keep parts for 10yrs

I blew my tail pipe section off my rear silencer on saturday under hard acceleration. does anybody have any ideas apart from a merc dealer where I can get a new rear silencer.

looking to replace my amg wheels on my CLK 430 (208). I have according to the paperwork Front - 7.5jx!&H2/ET37/35* with 225/45R17 Rear - 8.5jX17H2/ET30* with 245/40R17 I have read the the chart and I would like to go 18" all round.What im :confused: about is the different...

My CLK430 has 17" wheels on as per information leaflet that came with the car. Front - 225/45R17 91W 7.5JX17H2/ET37/ET35* Back - 245/40R17 91W 8.5JX17H2/ET30* What I would like to know please is, can I put the 18" wheels on and if so what rim size, tyre size and offset would I need :confused:
