    W205 c250 power increase...

Hi, 3 months in and thoroughly enjoying daily life in my c250d premium plus wagon. Always had beemers previous and much prefer the interior in this to even my m4. Last car was a 335d which with circa 310bhp and lots of torque was no slouch. Is there any ‘safe’, reliable, proven power increases...

    Looking for a change...

After a couple of years away from AMG I’m thinking of an early c63 saloon, I offloaded my M4 today and fancy a change, I’ve loved the original 63 for 10 years. I have driven the new version and wasn’t really taken to be honest, it was obviously a very handsome beast and very very capable car but...

Park on drive , or not ...

6 weeks after I got me cla 45 we were taregetted at 4pm when our elsdest could have been home alone! I had the keys with me house is alarmed with 4 cameras at the front car was on drive we have a big dog. 4 big blokes went round the back and popped the patio door! Thankfully they didn’t hurt the...

    Ml63AMG

Ok so after a visit to my local dealers I’ve also been looking at c63s, didn’t realise they had dropped into my price range. Perhaps a new thread is needed on the pros and cons of owning one of those ‍♂️ I imagine they would be a little more fuel sympathetic? I can get a slightly newer 63 which...

Have there been many advancements tech wise in the ML on the latest models up to 2015?

Looked at a 62 plate today 2013, covered 50k. It was 2 owner and had obviously been cherished not a mark! 21s, red calipers, sunroof, heated seats, hk, nav/dvd, elec boot, folding mirrors, rear camera, 4 new tyres. Very good price full history. Bit older than I intended but it was immaculate. My...

    Ml63AMG

Thanks for the heads up, I lived with 19 on my m3 for a while and an old 996 911 I had was similar, neither gave the practical space or huge amount of power and v8 theatre! I’m sure it’s worth a little extra, as I say I have a van, car and motorbikes if I need frugality. The Cayenne is going to...

That sounds acceptable my 135 was doing about 17mpg! My Cayenne is only 30mpg average. It’s a total pleasure car so I’m buying smiles not cheap miles we’ve got other vehicles for that I just wanted to hear someone say it’s worth it really I’ve not found one to test drive but have sat in one. My...

Totally get that, I’m not worried as such I took out 4.8 cayenne and got 25mpg from that I’ve had m3s cla45, 135msport, loads of 4x4s. I’m running a diesel 3ltr cayenne now which probably costs me £20 a week but if that jumped to £60 a week I’d be soon shifting it on....

Not been around for a while had a few diesels since my cla45. Ive wanted an ml63 forever. I can afford a 15plate 5.5. I only do a bit of pottering about eves and weekends no more than 5k a year but I’m worried the fuel costs will take the shine from ownership? I can live with 25mph general Ave...

Exactly why would you worry lol, and that is of course what they are made for!

    Who lives with an ML63?

Thanks for the interesting info..15mpg is a lot less than the 35mpg I'm getting from the X4 which is a quick car but less for obvious reasons. I drove a cayenne 4.8 gts last week about town plus a bit of motorway and managed 26mpg with gentle driving I imagined similar can be achieved in the ML...

    Who lives with an ML63?

It's been 6 months since I moved the CLA on, I've not missed it much to be honest my current X4 ticks a lot of boxes and is definitely a better everyday car for us. Build quality is superb as is the performance, economy and creature comforts. That said I've REALLY wanted an ML63 for a long time...
