when you turn the underneath clockwise it should lock tight, but you can still shake it about.

can you advise me, noticed the emblem on the bonnet (three point star) was moving about, so bought a new one and fitted it, it does the same. should there be a seal or something to remove this gap. thanks

is there a way of getting the right one for your car, as there a lot that looks the same, but some seem to fit different, hope this makes sense.
