Hello gurus... My thermostat cover that is located at the engine front of M111 is broken. The part no. of this cover is : A1111500066. It is not available here at all,but I found another one with part no : A1111580185 Are they compatible? Any light shed on this area is highly appreciated

Hi Lxb3. . This may be late...I have the same issue with my car ,it is E220 1995 , in summer temp. Gauge always around 100C. Clutch is new and no coolant leaks. The rad. Is 21 years old now.could the rad. Be the guilty guy here? By the way..never done coolant flush before. Thanks

Hello... Would like to thank all who participated in this thread,I checked the car on the computer and the CO was sky rocketing,it was 3.78!!!!(don't know why) The tech. reduced it to 0.5 and all smokes stopped!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you again.

Thanks WDB124066. I replaced the crankcase breather because it was noisy leaking vacuum,not because of smoke. The new one pulses ,but am not sure if it pulses as long as the engine is running or pulses under certain conditions only.
