R231 / SL owners - where are you getting your wiper blades from?

No S Class either. I think the length of the blades on my W220 is 680mm, which they don't have, their list goes from 650 to 700mm.

    SAM advice

Well it's easy enough to repair the original one if it's the fusible link(s) that have blown. Plenty of threads about it on the forums.

    SAM advice

Ah, I see what you mean. Well I've had the car for nearly 7 years now, and those 2 glow plugs have never worked. Taking the original controller apart before I changed the plugs confirmed that the fusible links to those 2 plugs had blown, so replacing the plugs and repairing the controller...

    SAM advice

Thought it might be useful to update this, not that I'm much further on with it, but I have been persevering... This all started when I changed 2 glow plugs, which didn't work as the warning light just came on again. I then took the controller to bits and found the 2 fusible links had blown...

    Seized water pump om642!?

You will need to change the pump, I had the same problem with my W220, started it one morning and the belt flew off and I found it wrapped round the power steering pump. The impellor was seized solid. A bit of a pig to get to on my car, which has the straight six engine, yours is a V6?

    Bodywork repair in Kent

Evening all, it will soon be time to get the rear jacking points on my W220 sorted out, there are small holes appearing around the edges of the rubber bungs. Are there any bodyshops around the Kent area that anyone can recommend? Cheers.

    s210 320 cdi estate a/garde wheel alignment

My indy uses an inclinometer, which is what your local garage doesn't have. I have no idea how it works but Google says 'What is a Romess inclinometer? The Inclinometer measures the vehicle level ride height using the position of the transverse link on the front axle and the drive shaft on...

    W220 sill covers

Afternoon all. Have searched for info on this but can't find anything specific. I want to remove the sill covers on my S class to basically have a nose and see what state the metal is in underneath, and also to clean up the edges of the rear arches as they are starting to corrode a bit. Looking...

    Offset??

Yes thanks, I have spacers on at the moment, 10mm front, 15mm rear without any issues, so I think if I change to an et35 I could remove the front spacers and fit 5mm ones to the rear?

    Offset??

Thank you all so very much, that calculator is very good.

    Offset??

Chaps, I am hopeless at visualising different offsets between wheels so would like some advice. My W220 has 18 inch wheels with an et44 offset, will a set with et35 offset be further in or further out? Thanks and apologies for the stupid question!
