W203 Facelift Wiring Diagram Engine Management

Thanks old chap. Done a forced regen in fact two. However the first one did not work properly, not overly sure the second one done it for long enough, so replaced the dpf anyway, not sure my diagnostics will allow me to tell it - its had a new sensor or to reset soot values (although it should)...

W203 Facelift Wiring Diagram Engine Management

Many thanks, I guess a DPF sensor is much like any other DPF sensor... wonder what I'm looking for on pin 1 though - is it a square wave or just a fluctuating voltage?

W203 Facelift Wiring Diagram Engine Management

Anyone point me in the direction of a decent wiring diagram for the engine management for a C220 CDI 2005? As usual AutoData is useless. Fault code coming up as dpf sensor (pressure differential) e.g pipes/hoses blocked/split. Goes into limp mode, clear fault and all is well for a few mins...

    W203 C220 CDI DPF Issue

I am actually discounting the CAT as there is no performance issue when the fault codes are cleared. it goes like a scalded cat for 10 mins at least... if the CAT was blocked the power would be well down regardless. Looks like I will have to backprobe the electrics to see if there is a break in...

    W203 C220 CDI DPF Issue

Thanks for reply. I wondered about a blocked cat although I thought the diagnostics would have pulled a code from it, I have another cat so might change it as well. Pig of a job on these though. I don't use STAR but my diagnostics platform is excellent and covers MB no problems.

    W203 C220 CDI DPF Issue

I am pulling my piggin hair out now... Fault codes (amongst others) 2082-8 B28/8 DPF Sensor Plausibility due to defective hose line. This is putting on the MIL and hence limp mode. I replaced the B28/8 DPF sensor with the latest one, checked rubber hoses were fine. Cleaned DPF & Forced Regen...
