Put the frame of a 1983 CB400N Superdream in the boot of my E320 CDI saloon and took it for shot blasting. Collecting tomorrow hopefully. :D

I'm thinking of buying an ML 270 D auto, around 2003 :D Is there is anything major that I should look out for when testing one? I'll be checking the gearbox, temperature and all the bells and lights. Are they prone to diff problems or major weak rust spots:dk: Cheers guys

I tried several MB changers and single disc players from the scrap yard and every one of them was deffective :mad: I took the head staggers and took my changer apart and cleaned out the lumps of muck and bricks, to my surprise it works a dream now :D Although I have probably scudded myself...

I have them and I think there's plenty of room with them up:)

Do you keep the cowl of too?

Did you check if there are drains and if they are blocked? If you have drains, blow them out with an air line:)

Dieselman, I was going to remove my fan too tomorrow, does it effect the fan clutch at all? :D I cut a rubber car mat to shape the front of the rad and had a bit in front of the fan, but was frightened it would come lose and hit it :thumb: My temp comes up nice with the above mods and sits...
