Hello all, Has anyone got a 2006 W169 with a set of Merc car mats please? My car has official Merc mats but the fixing is two plastic caps that are supposed to click onto studs in the floor. They look like these. My car doesn't have anything to fix the mats to the floor so it keeps sliding...

Hi, almost a year ago (sorry, I know I should watch this forum more regularly) I posted about a problem with the clutch on my "new" A-Class. I've just put an update on that topic - gearbox went on that one! The initial 12 month warranty is coming to an end so I want to get the car looked at...

Update ... The selling garage in question replaced the clutch which was fine until November. Then the gearbox started to "whine", getting worse and worse over time. Quite by accident I found a garage near me that say they are Merc specialists (was just there to have some winter tyres put on)...

Well, we got the car back last Friday (they had it from the previous Wednesday). They seem to have fixed everything and they put a new clutch in the car. All seems to be working fine and dandy now. I suspect all the work wiped out any margin they had made on the sale but fair play to the garage...
