Halfords changed the dipped and main beam bulbs for Halogen HAL ADV 5000K +50 H7 477 (£73.00) but lights don't seem any better. I noticed coming home in the dark tonight that the dipped beam only shines about 25 yards ahead so I guess I'll have to get them adjusted to about 100 yard?

Thanks Mikey... I'm guessing someone supplies "legal" LEDs as they are fitted to some new cars

I didn't know they weren't road legal. According to their site Halfords are selling them and customers seem to be very happy with them.

There is a levelling system rotor... I'll check that out

Hello , Thanks for responding so quickly plastic lens are clear and clean, lamp reflectors not tarnished they do not change brightness with or without engine running or being revved?

My 2012 ML headlights and dipped lights seem to be much dimer than before... Any ide why this should be happening?

I haven't used one but I think tat this £300 gadget overrides the EML message that says "You won't be able to restart in xxx miles I guess it would be handy to keep in the car to keep you on the road. Just wondered if anyone has tried this gadget............It's on YOU TUBE
