Just a quick update. I managed to get my cars datacard updated with the three smartphone integration codes and my COMAND units software updated. I now have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto working!

I have quite an old version of the COMAND Download Manager, does anyone know where I can obtain the latest version please?

Advantage is I don't need to leave my car at the dealers for the day, which is a massive inconvenience for me. If I can download the data myself, then just order the pin, I can then do the update myself.

The part number for mine is A2128200842. I took the pic from outside looking into the boot. The part is mounted to the under side of the parcel shelf. My car has the convenience boot package, so opening and closing can be done by waving your foot beneath the rear bumper.

Thanks for your replies.... I found out the larger item is the boot lid lift and close mechanism. And agree, the other item is the amplifier for the Harmon Kardon Logic 7 sound system.

Not sure about the ECU thing. It's a 2015 MY, but to me it feels very quick! 😁
