A late Rover 75 cdti with 3k on the clock went through Mathewsons Classic Auction Today, i think the final bid was £11.5k or thereabouts.

Ive got one of those, not a jcw but a cab, its hard to judge these days, if you look back at what you have owned in the past, capri 280, e30 m3, cosworth sierras, etc. They cost peanuts back then, who could have seen what the future would bring!

I bought this the other day, it seemed a good idea at the time, had a week of my wife and I calling each other dossers and now cant decide which car to put it on. Really i would love to see it on a new Bentley or something similar!

Funnily enough there is a story behind it. The car was bought new by a very wealthy gentleman who had various other cars so limited use on the cl. I bought the car in 2012 with 24k after he had an accident which declared the car a total loss. Not massive damage but cost of new amg bumper, etc...
