    AMG’s in Picture.....

Agree. Stelvio should be one of the best, but it's full of camper vans and coaches. We blew a radiator hose and broke down half way up Stelvio once in our 35 year old camper. Ruined many tourists photos that day!

    S211 e55 and Towing??

He said Absolutely, I reckon you'd have to be picked up by VOSA or well inform traffic police to actually have a problem. It is certainly taken more seriously in NL and Germany. A Dutch friend is very careful not to go over the plated limit on his car, and spent a small fortune on a very light...

    S211 e55 and Towing??

That makes sense. The e55 was a '99 I think. Anyway, that was in the past, and the car was unfortunately scrapped as a cat 'b'. I would never do anything so irresponsible these days... :D

St Bernards pass in southern Switzerland. Best pass I've driven as the roads were almost completely empty. Highly recommended (in the summer)!

    2007 w211 e63 AMG Designo 7-seat Wagon/Estate - £11000

Mercedes E63 AMG wagon/estate For Sale After a year of procrastination, I’m putting my much loved 2007 (57) Mercedes E63 AMG 7-seat estate up for sale. 514bhp, 7speed auto with paddles, 135,000 miles (still in daily use, so will change slightly), MOT Oct 2020. Full MBSH – a stack of receipts...

    W163 or W220?

w202 as a daily is always a good choice :) I daily'd several w140's 10 year ago as bangers when you literally couldn't give them away, as well as stripping one as a track toy. The s320 was the favourite though, even over the 500se v8 - enough power with that lovely m104, and a genuine 35mpg...

    S211 e55 and Towing??

I put a tow bar on my old w210 e55 just because I had one kicking about from a previously scrapped e430. It was physically the same, and bolted up easily. Probably shouldn't have used it for towing, but it was only occasionally dragging something or other to the scrapyard. Other than the...

    W163 or W220?

Slight curveball, but how about a late w140? All the electrical gremlins were addressed in the late ones, and reliability is certainly higher then the w220's or at least the earlier w220's. Big solid safe cars. Also, they are creeping up in value now, so you won't loose out come time to sell...

These Are The Greatest Engines Of The Last Decade M156 6.3

Gutted than mine has to go. Had the privilege of 45,000 miles of M156 fun though, and a lot of that on the German Autobahn. 180mph 7 seater. It is the perfect all rounder. And that noise... But I've now moved to Switzerland where tax is based on engine size, of which I'm pretty sure is a...

Sigh.. Would love those bits, but my car is worth less than the cost of the parts. But to find a car with it already done...

    Beautiful 560 SEC

£20K.. Sigh.. Probably a good investment for that money too... I bought a decent 560SEC for £1000 15 years ago. Before that a mint black/black 420SEC for £1500 and got given a mildly vandalised 380SEC before that. Didn't sell any of them over £2k (although I did destroy 2 of them with...

Such low miles for a 19 year old car. Nice purchase!

Ready for an AMG in my life

I'm also putting my e63 estate up for sale - just trying to get to the 30 post count so I can list it in the classifieds here:) (7 seater, designo everthing, distronic, 132k miles, FMBSH). REALLY don't want to sell it but I've moved to Switzerland and can't import it. £11k for a hopefully...
