You were right, mega electrical problem. Glow plug/plugs had gone causing the relay to short out. Finally getting sorted !

It's why I've been struggling. Didn't try it with engine running before. Its quite a thick white cable the feed has been taken from. Cigaret lighter will be the best place to source from though ??

I've found earth and perm live. The switch live only goes live once engine has started and not just with ignition ? Is this down to where he's taken the switch feed from ? Guess I need to find a new home for it. Don't want to have to have engine running to listen to tunes all the time ??
