I've fitted mine to a set of steel wheels which I got from the dealers, it cost me £40 to swap tyres so its def worth get set of cheap steels to mount your winter tyres.

I can recommend Nokian WR's as its a cold weather tyre with ability to handle snow.

I can recommend Kumho Ecsta Ku31's, its a very good budget tyre and I don't think Kumho tyres are that bad as they are fitted as standard on some A-classes

I can recommend Concord Ultimax as 0-4 yr child seat if you don't need a removable seat. Its a very comfortable seat with excellent neck support, 0-12months its a rear facing seat and then 12+ months it becomes a front facing seat.
