    W209 Door Glass Loose

Known problem on the W209. Mine suffered from this from day one. Can be fixed I seem to remember, but I think its new window runners etc that are required. Sure a more experienced member will add more in due course. Good luck.

So best and worst GTG's you have seen ? Car wise

Have to agree totally. There is a guy in work with one of these horrors. He thinks it is the dogs nuts and really cool. I just think it's horrendous on all levels.

    Dodgy dealings?

No. I absolutely mean sellers- as I am one myself. What I mean is I am a seller, have been for years, with afeedback of 5000+ (currently at 100%). A new buyer can come along, no previous feedback, make a fuss, complain about you - for no good or credible reason and then leave you negative...

    Dodgy dealings?

I agree 100% with you. A very one sided operation designed to keep ebay in the £££. Sellers are second class citizens to these people.

    Ghosts

Have to agree with you. I have lost both my parents, my dad suddenly without warning last July. Dad was a very no-nonsence old fashioned sort. His view on 'ghosts and the like' was absolutely they didn't exist. Dad always said 'watch those that are alive son, they can harm you. The dead will...

    Petrol Station Etiquette

That sadly is typical of the selfish agressive society we can now call Great Britain. For me the Great left this country of ours many years ago. Very sad state of affairs.

    Petrol Station Etiquette

Interesting post. I have forgotten mine a couple of times at my local Sainsbury's. They have been fine about it, noted down the registration/sum owed etc in a book and advised me to return within 7 days. Apparently they then escalate the unpaid cases to a debt recovery firm. On return to...

    Bitter vs Lager

Lager as a general rule for me, though will drink bitters or real ales as and when. Lager has to be premium, has to be cold, and cannot be Fosters, Carling, etc etc. Think lager drinking in these parts, regardless of age stems from the fact we had the UK's first lager brewery - Wrexham...

    BMW Warranty

It's 3 years with BMW from new regardless of owner transfer. Not sure (and not relevant to me as I drive low miles) if there is a maximum mileage restriction.
