ok i stripped out my air intake today and it seems my crankcase breather pipe is disintegrating into small pieces so i am hoping that this is what has caused my lean codes
i will be ordering a new one tomorrow along with intake gaskets as these don't look to great either so fingers crossed this...
right i have been and had my car plugged into star
and it has come up with an air leak fault with the MAF sensors so i have replaced both sensors with brand new ones from mercedes this has not fixed the problem
so now been back to a specialist and they have said camshaft issues causing both...
ok then i will go and get it plugged into star tomorrow or when the engine light comes back on as i have erased the code for now
the last time the never told me much just that it was most likely a o2 sensor
does anyone have any ideas what is causing this running lean on bank 1 and 2 on my w164 ml63
the codes don't pinpoint the problem and i don't want to just start swapping out parts till it fixes the issue
it was doing this on bank 1 only then i swapped the maf sensors around and now i have it...
how do you check the oil on a c class 270cdi
i know it is on the dash but its not letting me do it
and it just says something like pref serv something
so i don't know how to check it now
any help appreciated

The problem is the starting issue again
So thought I would take off the leak back pipes from on top of the injectors
And start the car to see how much fuel return there is
Now the first 2 injectors hardly any came out...

only one problem there now when i checked the brake fuse i stood in some dog sh*t
and thats on the carpet now lol
i just can't win with this car lol
i fianally sorted out the oil in loom problem finished doing that today
but now i have a problem with my brake lights being on all the time even when i remove the number 62 fuse from the fuse box the lights still stay on

then get them to look at it for me
i have only just had the car and its been nothing but problems from day one
and the dealer i bought it from are a bunch of conmen i have had to get...
yeah but i would of thought the traction control would not cause the engine to just die
i will go and get the codes rered and see what comes up
i just don't understand what codes like can bus off means
how do you turn it on
i also had a problem with oil traveling up the loom and getting in...
i am going to ring them on monday to see what they say
also today pulling away from the lights the engine cut out and said esp fault had to coast to a stop and restart the car and drive off
now could this be a crankshaft sensor problem
just said where do you want to start then and said could be this could be that
i can do that myself lol
could be can bus or instrument cluster or crankshaft sensor
he then reset all the codes and that was it
