Clk 320 Auto Coupe Elegance w208 2002 51 plate.
Just come to drive away today and the car wont start. The electrics come on and windows go up and down (bit sluggish) but upon turning the key there is just an abrupt click sound.
Any ideas on where to start first?
Double din dvd, cd, sd, radio, satnav, Bluetooth.
Stopped powering up on me, cant afford to repair. Could be a simple fix for an autoelectrician. No blown fuses. Nothing looking burnt. Doesn't include wiring harness but includes sat nav unit and Bluetooth mic etc. Can email pics.

Engine light came on and car started running a bit rough.
Disconnected each plug on the coil packs one at a time (plug connector on top). Each one made a difference to the running of the engine except cylinder 5.
Swapped the coil pack on...
I have a Mercedes clk 320 auto coupe elegance w208 51 plate 2002.
The brake at the front needed doing (disks and pads) so I took it into a garage who replaced the disks and pads and did the two front wheel bearings. I think this was just over £300 although I don't remember the exact...
I know I probably just need to get the codes read and it could be a number of things but basically on start up after around 1 min the car starts to idle as if it will cut out. Then I set off and it is fine. Then I pull up to a junction and as I hold it on the brake (auto) it does it again as if...
Anyone know where I can get some exact fit white (4300k or similar light, no blue etc but not too orange) side light bulbs to fit a 2002 51 plate Clk w208 elegance coupe auto. I purchased some led ones online which do not fit at all as mine are two prong kind of and these were small flat leds...
I've had a good search first but no joy. Might take it to an auto electrician when i get chance and maybe he can swap around the way the pins are or something. Be tidier than soldering or connecting it.
So everything fits except the one with four pins does not line up with the one with four pins on the other side.
And i cant find an adapter anywhere that makes them match. Hence thinking of soldering or connecting the wires instead.
So this one is the one that comes from the car which doesnt fit into the new plastic harness on the aftermarket headunit.
Where it should go (although the pins dont line up) has blue, yellow, red and black.
I have got a double din head unit to go into a clk 320 auto coupe elegance w208 2002 51 plate.
But the wiring harness/connector/iso is not a fit for my new unit.
One side fits but the other has the pins in the wrong place.
I cant seem to find an aftermarket harness that will fit right...
