OP , can you show us a photo of the 'oil' light you are talking about. As far as I know no V8 M113 ever came fitted with an oil pressure monitoring switch that was connected to the dashboard display. Yours might have one , If so I would like to see how to retro fit one to my car , I have seen...
Not sure , but it sure is a service item , cheap , one bolt , 2 pipe clips (the feed pipe is quick release).
If it's Febi (like my replacement one ) it's a direct 'copy' of the MB one , Febi might even make it for them . Either way the one you see cut open in my first post is a Genuine MB one...
Glad you are taking that approach . Forgive me if you already know all this but springs can be very deceptive to measure .
For example(s) a rear coil spring (in your hand) the exact diameter and length that looks identical to the one on you car might be 100% wrong because it has a wire diameter...
Yes , thats the good green stuff Pentosin CHF11S, apparently V high quality . Annoyingly my car holds a smidgen over one litre after a full fluid change so I end up with almost a full bottle of (opened) fluid on the shelf that I will not need for a very long time .
Unless leaking the PS uses...
Imagine if Trump gets back in , can anyone even imagine him wanting to spend seconds of his time with Stammer or Lame Lammy ? He might do , to be polite , but not sure polite is his thing.
On the other hand if Harris gets in just imagine the fawning and grovelling Stammer and Citizen Khan will...
I had this same problem a while back , the fluid in my system was basically worn out and black . after much research (that MB fluids chart that sometimes pops up on here is often not much help) I ended up buying it from MB (at great expense) via my VIN number . Now that I know that it's the...
Kenny is 100% spot on . Take it from an owner of a (fairly) rare C55 AMG finding the correct springs for your MB is a bloody minefield . Your first (and best bet) is actually finding colour codes and/or a part number on the actual springs fitted to your car. That in itself is not always 100%...
And ?? are not those things very topical at the moment ? Two tier policing seems to be built on skin colour and religion .
Before you answer you do not know my skin colour , religious beliefs or my cultural heritage , but I think you might 'have a guess' from the confines of your super white...
Not happening , whoever voted Stammer in (not easy to find them out in the wild these day's ) has put paid to any left wing utopia on the horizon. He and his comrades have already started their socialist purge .
Those who don't like it might want to go and live in France , Germany ? Spain...
The list is endless .
Someone from Wiltshire saying " That's a good ideal " . When the word needed is idea.
I have worked in the USA quite a lot and it is something you will hear all of the time on YouTube if you watch any technical content from there and that is the pronunciation of...
Just un plug the alarm sounder , not sure if it's the same unit that plagues many an MB , but when it rot's out its internal batteries cause all sorts of Voodoo .
Unplugging it is a simple DIY cheap and cheerful fix ....if that's what it is of course.
One way to find out .
What engine is this ? I know it can't be an M113 V8 AMG C55 engine as that particular engine has no oil pressure monitoring on it NONE . Crazy , but true.
A little more detail might help us to help you :thumb:
PS . If your car is monitoring the oil pressure leaving the engine running for 30...
That is how it looks , nothing removed . This particular (blue) clip is a PITA to access because of the prop shaft , not sure if my C55 AMG has a larger diameter prop shaft but access is not as easy as the photo would have you believe.
