I'm a lighting tech for theatre. The tech-theatre term for the lighting department is 'LX'. My name is Simon. This is my car :)
Also there is a rock'n'roll tribute show touring the UK called 'That'll Be The Day'. Their artic is T11 BTD
Sorry, but I prefer the 'edgy' styling of the M3 compared to the 'slightly melted' styling of the C63 (but still prefer my 204 C63 to both, I'm that old-school!)
The thing that gets me is everyone criticising the over-large front grille of the M3/4 - at least that is a styling 'decision' -...
Love his vids - there's a whole set on a V12 twin turbo S class coupe, where he removes the engine and strips it down...just to replace a $1 o-ring that is leaking oil and cannot be accessed any other way....
Sorry for the necropost, but I'm just researching how to do footwell lights and I've found this, but also a thread with a pic of wiring soldered on to the lampholders on the rooflight unit, both methods posted by you - is there a preferred/better method of the two?
I've been told that the 204 C63 should be stationary to go in/out of M, the rest should be ok. No idea why, it is only changing the parameters of an electric/electronic system after all.
Have gone in and out of M on the move (before I was told!) with no problems
That looks beautiful! Gotta love a fast wagon (I keep saying that, starting to think I may have been wrong in getting a coupe :P )
I drive mine like a granny too most of the time, but just now and then that granny reminds herself how 6.2l can try to throw itself over the horizon... ;)
