Just purchased the G14 battery for €228 shipped, MB dealership quoted €390 for original so it was a no brainer for me to go with Varta G14. I'll save my old battery and use it for next hibernation and put the new battery on trickle charging at home. Maybe next weekend it's time for start up :)

Being original I rather replace it now instead of having a working battery for a week and then sitting without charge. As I cannot charge the battery in the garage it is be more convenient just to replace it. I also think a new batteri gives peace of mind :)
