Does feel like that's the case, the thing I can't work figure is why it used to let me do it with one wheel spinning? If it's just a set rule that it won't allow full throttle and brake then I wouldn't have thought it'd make any difference.
After a bit of technical advice.
I had a quaife diff fitted as the first mod to my 62 reg C63 this week. All great, has made the car a completely different animal round corners as it only had the stock open diff previously.
However, when attempting to be a hooligan (sometimes you just...
If your breaking traction at 70mph you must have an anvil attached to your right foot :P
I'm in a similar situation having just gone from FWD to my first RWD car but I'm finding the c63 extremely easy to predict and control when traction is broken actually, much more so than I expected. Embrace...
Personally I don't see any issue with going in to dealers and getting test drives before you are ready to buy. I couldn't possibly begin to decide what car I wanted without sitting behind the wheel - how else are you supposed to drive one unless you just happen to have a mate who owns one...
Bizarre to hear so many story's of bad service. I bought my car from Merc in Cheshire (so probably the same dealer) over Dec/Jan and the service was immaculate. Nothing was too much to ask, they added £5k to their initial offer on the part ex value of my previous car when i told them it wasn't...
Haha noooo, you wouldn't catch me dead in a VXR! The mini was good fun though, it logged 0-60 in 4.9s and 30-70 in 3.8s when it was running properly so safe to say I had fun surprising a few cars on the road!
Plans wise Im speaking to MSL about a remap and diff initially then I'll go from...
What I would call not ideal conditions considering I've just jumped from FWD 260bhp to RWD 450bhp!! Having a lot of fun today :thumb:
Also if anyone can point me in the right direction, any reason I can't start a project thread? Just trying to not clog up the introduction area as I know that's...
Cheers for the welcome folks.
Yes I was on MT, small world even on the internet these days!
Birmingham is ideal if that's where a renowned tuner is based, only an hour or so from me. Agreed on the Quaiffe as well, lovely bits of kit for a road car.
Hi folks
Just quickly introducing myself. I've just picked up a c63 and am sure that information is going to have to be extracted from you lot. I'm no stranger to modifying cars and, having been a Mod on a couple of other forums, no stranger to forums either. However, I am a complete noob to...
