I disagree with that comment, The shock absorber should be able to deal with its main job of dampening the suspension. The stiffness is adjusted electronically by passing a current through the metal particals that are within the fluid in the shock absorber's. It looks like there is a weakness...

If they were new parts, then it will be parts warranty. The shock absorber seal has failed. Get in contact with who ever fitted or & supplied the parts. I hope this helps

Both rear shockers have been replaced now. Apparently this is quite common for these to leak So heads up Mercedes do this repair quite often

The question was to find out if this is a common issue! One shocker is leaking very slightly & yes it will need replacing.

Has anyone had their rear shock absorbers starting to leak on 2017 w205 Cab it's only done 29k. My Right hand rear shocker has just started to weep fluid. So I am going to replace it. Just wanted to ask if this is a common failure

Does anyone know if the A205 2017 C43 cabriolet have any water drains for the roof, sills, & front plenum/bulkhead. I just want to check them & clean them out if needed. Just want to check on their location too. Do they get blocked? Thanks everyone

Thanks for advise guys. I will give Krytox a go, as I have some available to me. When the weather permits I will re clean all the seals & apply some Krytox to them. Then see what happens.

Hi Guy's I have a A205 cabriolet where the drop glasses squeak when closing. I have tried clean both the glass & seals, but thus far the noise has not stopped. Any suggestions?

Yes in the AMG display It shows both engine oil temp & transmission temp

Guys What sort of time, distance, driving mode etc Can be expected for the transmission to get up to normal operating temperature Thanks in advance
