    2015 C250 AMG-Line BlueTec - AdBlue Query

Theoretically it should be good for 10k miles but it depends on driving style etc. I've got the same car and covered 65k miles since new in Nov 14. I think I'm up to 6 refills, but more likely 7. You can buy it on Amazon for £20 shipped and it fills the tank with an adapter that comes as part...

    C350e anyone considering one?

If I had the option of a cash allowance I'd take it but unfortunately I have to have a company car (also fitted with a joy-sapping telematics box). Toying with telling them to stick the car and effectively losing a piece of my package but the 350e / 330e are the most attractive propositions if...

    C350e anyone considering one?

I think it is. If I replaced my C250d with the same model again my BiK percentages are 24%, 26% and 29%. Over course of my 3 year period a C250 will cost c.£11k tax and a bmw 330e would be c.£5,200. This is in addition to any personal contribution I make.

I think the second and third may have been. I can't quite remember tbh as I just call Leaseplan and they book the rest with me leaving my keys at security for my office (when I'm there). First done at the dealership at the same time as a service. Definitely worth getting done then! Just don't...

I'm on my third windscreen in my W205 in 2 1/2 years. This one has two chips in it and I just can't be bothered to replace it as I know it'll happen again soon enough. I'll call Leaseplan when the rain starts coming through... All replacements have had signatures on them though.

Oh wow, what set up did the BMW have and what did you opt for with the Merc?

    C350e owners club

I've been comparing the two on our Leaseplan scheme at work and the clincher for me is that just comparing the saloons against each other, the BMW is over £100 per month cheaper on the personal contribution (and still £70 per month cheaper of specced in M Sport or Luxury compared to the Sport...

That's a fair call for journey planning. Just poor that a system in expensive cars is outperformed by cheaper / free units and apps for its core duties

Nearly two years into my sat nav experience with my C250 and I've binned it off. Serious lack of traffic awareness and woeful ability to handle a deviation from the stated route when I know better than the unit. Google maps on my phone is far more accurate and adaptable.

    Adblu

I've bought two lots off Amazon for £20 each. So far so good, large container so you've got to be steady and balanced when tipping upside down but the nozzle screws on to minimise risk of spillage. I've had conflicting reports of filling at Merc between services and my lease company said flat...

2013 C220 cdi or C250 cdi Sport Plus

I've found the MPG in my 250 around as good as my previous 220, if not better in some situations. Motorway cruising is easier and just ticks over around 1,800 RPM, plus you've got a few more beans when you put the hammer down ;)

What you all up too tomorrow

Driving my C250 to LHR to leave in a car park for two weeks whilst I jet off and flop on a beach for two weeks. Will be the longest holiday it's ever had!

    Another ugly car.....

And the Dubai locals of course love to pimp their cars. For when a G63 just isn't muscular enough...

    C250d adblue

I've filled my own adblue three times now. Both Halfords and a 10 litre bottle from Amazon have performed well (about £20). I've done 41,000 miles since new and I find that it doesn't last between service intervals as they originally state (but we know not to trust Merc and their mileage...

    W205 14 plate pickup tomorrow

My next door neighbour has one and he's reporting high 40's to mid 50's for MPG. It's a little heavier than the regular car and from what people say there seems to be a knack for getting the best out of hybrids but I'm confident that it should perform just as well driven in the right manner...

Hands down the worst unit I've ever used (and I've had a base Tom Tom in a Spanish hire car). I've also taken to using Google Maps at the start of a route to check general nav and traffic issues then I go all Skywalker and turn my piloting computer off. Fed up of the pure intransigence of the...

    W205 14 plate pickup tomorrow

If you go by the trip computer then 64MPG is quite achievable in the C250. I've regularly get in the late 50's to early 60's on longer drives. My record (for drive over an hour) is 72MPG when driving like a grandad but also recently got 68MPG on a drive from Sheffield to Southampton thanks to...

    W205 reliability issues

Wouldn't say anything seriously wrong but a few annoyances. Creaking coming from behind centre console that's worse in cold weather (so can pretty much forget about it for a few months now). Sat Nav frequently thinking I'm on a different road and also getting confused between the shortest...

    Windscreen repair

I'm on my third windscreen in 18 months with a pound sized chip in the current one in my W205. Just can bring myself to book a fourth one so soon. I don't know what Merc are using for their glass but it's sodding brittle I'll tell you that much!

I think I posted a photo of it the other week but a 200+ mile trip back from Sheffield my C250d yielded 68.9mpg. I was only two up with luggage but a range of 260 miles for a full tank would be a bit too inconvenient for the type of trips I make and that's where the difference kicks in for me...
