I searched everywhere for a reliable place, A few poeple asked me to go see Wayne Gates and he was the most expensive. I ended up getting the rebuild by a local Mechanic it took a few weeks but I was happy with the results and plue all parts were from Mecedes local to me.

Honestly I did not ask and they did not say

I had the engine fully refurbished. Was offered a second hand one with low miles, but decided to go for a full rebuild.

I have a 2015 Mercedes C220d Bluetec with 55000 on the clock. My car has a bad knocking sound from the engine. I called a few Mechanics and some say bottom end other say fuel injectors, I am some what confused as to the exact cuase or problem. Can anyone help please.

I just tried the link and it does not work

I had a Mechanic look at the car and he said that the turbo needed to be replaced or refurbished. My car smokes apparently the oil was low and dirty and since the car wasn't used much for months the the oil was being sucked up by the turbo hence the smoke.
