Yep, the stock F1 Assm 5s are great for ride, noise and grip well too, wet or dry.

Yep, usually easy job given that there is already a hole in it! New nipples cost buttons. I've never broken one myself, but have had to deal with a few. Either sheared or tighted so much, they don't seal anymore.

I had a 981S Boxster recently. It juddered massively from the front wheels when on full lock. Nothing wrong with it and just a function of the suspension / steering geometry. Zero consideration to this given once you experience the awesome handling.

I had the 19s above for a number of years. They didn't loose pressure, but the two rears had to be welded due to cracking, when refurbed. No big deal and probably good for another 8 years or more!

Go for a long tube header plus remap and get a good performance and noise increase! With a remap, you should be up to around 550bhp. Put the secondary cats back in if needed.

Also check it doesn't have pikey wheel spacers fitted or the wrong offset wheels. If you are unlucky, they can mess up the ackerman and scrub radius, amongst others.

OP, if it drives fine to you, keep them as they are. FWIW, a friend fitted Falken FK510s to the rear of his E46 320d yonks ago. With PS2s on the front, it was fine in the dry and became an oversteer machine in the wet! I loved it, he ditched them :)

Yep and fine for much longer duration high speeds too. Check the condition of your tyres periodically though.

Black wheels with a diamond cut polished rim, were another cost option on top of the regular 19s. I think it looks great on a light coloured car.

Thing is, buy a nice facelift C63 for 20k and there is some hope that the depreciation has already bottomed out, or hasn't got much further to go. That might not be the case, but compared to a normal model at 20k, at least there is the possibility which could more than offset the additional...

Sure, that's cool. We can only recommend based on our experiences. I've tried them on the C63, Z4M and also a 330i. All did replace Conti's amusingly enough and a massive difference to all three. Not got an A35 :)

Yeah, but that is an external noise measurement, using some reference size on a reference surface. This is not what you have. You should have got the F1 Assym 3s that I and others recommended. You'd have to be deaf not to hear a BIG difference inside!
