a bit of a long shot but I’ve been searching for one of my fathers old cars. It’s an old S124 300TD
I put his reg in and it’s still on the road, I then googled it and it’s a member on here called MBZ8641 (the reg) Yet he’s never posted.
he bought it in 1993 ish and I’m trying to...
I haven’t asked Wayne gates (The MB specialist who did it) if there is Any warranty or not to be honest.
Yesterday I was irritated as a guy asked questions and was blunt and rude through autotrader, turns out he was a forum member who knew the answers. It wastes my time which I find...
Lee, if you’re reading this to which I’m sure you are, thanks for wasting my time asking pointless questions to which you already knew the answer to as you’d clearly already read the threads.
MB forum members, don’t waste my time asking questions about a car you’re never going to actually buy...
It’s a 3 stage machine polish to chase perfection where it’s safe to do so.
as I don’t want it taken down to bare minimum lacquer, it isn’t fair on the next owner/ owners. I just want that lustrous colour to pop and not have the previous wash marks/ hazing. If I wanted perfection I’d be...
sadly no mates rates but I think £390 is a fair price to pay. I’m not having a ceramic coating as I won’t see the long lasting benefit but it’s having a swissvax best in show wax instead. Which I’m lead to believe is quite good?
also bought new centre caps as the old ones are looking tired.
I’d also like to point out, nobody seemed to care when I bought e55bofs e55 a few years ago, spent a lot of money on it and sold it for a loss of £1500 within 6 weeks of ownership. Unforeseen issues arose with that car that nobody could of predicted yet I took the risk. I trust his honest...
it’s reasonable to ask the question if you’re a genuine buyer, if not, why would you waste my time?
after a bill of £11,700 it’s hardly something to hide and it’s here for anybody to view.
I bought it to simply experience a 5.5 turbo engined Amg as I unlike many people don’t go and joy ride...
I use a carcoon.
I have an outdoor one and used it for my c124 300ce for a year. Now has the Aston Martin in there.
mines a carcoon evo which is the outdoor one. Double skinned and has two fans, blows up around the car and makes for a totally sealed unit with airflow and car battery...
Couldn’t agree more SPX... some forum members slate a car before they’ve even seen it.
Just like the the 55 estate I bought a few months back. So many of them made assumptions that it didn’t work and would have issues. The car was near mint!
Also I find that some people on this forum want...
1993 Mercedes Benz 300CE Sportline ~ W124 C124 ~ 12 Months MOT ~ | eBay
eBay add there.
Bought from a forum member just over a year ago. Put it in a carcoon and it has never really moved other than going to have work done and the MOT. it’s not back in dry storage until it’s sold.
Looking for some advice please....
