    Euromerc webstore

Nick did a favour for Howard, for which I was quite happy to pay. Instead, on a completely unrelated transaction about a month later, he refused to refund, after many reminders, sighting that favour.

    Euromerc webstore

and again: Because instead of saying "You owe me a pint (or five)" or "it'll cost you such-and-such", which would've been alright, he quite abruptly (about a month later) told me that he is not refunding some money for never supplied parts and postage for collected parts, as he did me a...

    Euromerc webstore

No, I described my experience with Euromerc over the past year, but this particular episode got more attention. Crappy customer service and appalling attitude Most of it, actually. When I do a deal, I follow the agreed arrangement to the letter, that's why I emailed the "so the deal...

    Euromerc webstore

Well, collecting it from Nick wasn't my idea, and Jim was truly wonderful, although it wasn't 7am, it was more like 7:30 I would have never mentioned this whole thing, had it not being for other unfortunate examples of Nick's "service"

    Euromerc webstore

Yes, and then charged me £26 or thereabouts for it ... :thumb: What "team"? Where did you get that?

    Euromerc webstore

No, the arrangement for the purchase of exhaust was: collection from Euromerc. How it's got there was between you and your friend, whom I bought the exhaust from. Why you felt a need to charge me for a favour you did for your mate is another question. Oh yes they did, not international...

    Euromerc webstore

I've defended Nick (Euromerc) in the past, saying "I bought from Nick and got the part..." but my own experience for the past year has been extremely disappointing. I still have an order, placed in August 2011, listed as being processed - no emails advising the current position, not even...

    Audemars Piguet Watch....Real or Fake

Other than sending it back to AP, your best bet is to find an enthusiast/owner who can most probably tell right away if this is a fake. Once you know the marque's style, every minute detail is rather obvious to see, even if you're not familiar with that particular model. AP is not my thing...

That's exactly what I was thinking! :thumb:

    Another renting thread

Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement usually (often?) comes with a Notice Required Possession on the day the tenancy ends, that way no further paperwork is required. If the tenancy is extended by mutual agreement (whether written or verbal) then the Notice is considered null and void. I know...

    In Car Camera Recorders

After trying a few different ones, I got myself this one: BlackVUE DR400G HD - In-car Full HD Camcorder - GPS Version - Taxi Security Camera - Vehicle Security Camera and am very pleased with it - excellent quality (much higher resolution than the one you're looking at); imprints the speed as...

Remind me never to go driving in Russia

Thanks for that :thumb: Even though I'm very happy with BlackVue 400G I have in my little A160, the one at the top of the list looks interesting... I actually got extra £20 off, when I mentioned GPS tracker and GPS-equipped dashcam to insurance company just last week :bannana:

Small laptop with DVD drive required

Would it be easier/cheaper to transfer DVDs in question onto an SD card or USB flash drive? Other than that, the previous model of MacBookPro13 had a built-it DVD drive. Can still be bought either from Apple (refurb) or places like PC World, eBuyer, Amazon and other online retailers.

Remind me never to go driving in Russia

I've been there quite a few times, and it seems the level of craziness in driving is going up steadily year by year :wallbash: ... I'd honestly wouldn't risk to get behind a wheel there ... hats off to bpsorrel

Recommendations for a Car Insurance broker (Moved to the UK from Oz and need help)

You may want to check out Swinton - they managed to get Aviva to accept my Bahamas NCD (albeit only 3yrs) last year and get me insured while still on Bahamian DL. The good news is this year insurance cost me just over half of the last year's one :thumb:

    CKL Clive

I've been travelling a fair bit recently and missed this thread ... I've had a full respray and door plastic trim replacement done by Clive recently; actually I collected the car on the morning of Olly's GTG, so some might even remember it - it was the only A-class there :bannana: Not...
