High octane dose work but only in engines that can adjust to use it. In my 90's turbo I have a switch that changes timing. On tests turbo cars did make the most of the high octane fuels. So like a lot of people have posted try it and see.
Its the RCA cables that I don't want too long. On some of my old cars there has been interference from this and I think earth problems? I will have a look around the car this weekend and let you know if I find any space or any ECU's that are not needed ;)
The only problem is under the drivers seat there are two boxes. One I think is to do with moving the seat the other I don't know. Under the passenger seat will be the sub. But going to a car hifi shop would be a good move...
I am upgrading the speakers in my ML (2003). So I have my speakers and I am looking at also adding an AMP to drive the speakers. So this then leaves a few question:
I would like to put AMP behind the glove box, is there space?
If not where would you fit it?
I am thinking of using an adapter...
Will try and get pick up over the weekend.
If you face the engine there is the center plastic cover with merc in silver in the middle. To the left of that is a pipe running from the front of the car into a black plastic box on the exhaust side of things (above pre-cat and turbo). On the left...
So it was the bottom edge on both sides. Facing the back of the car, the left hand side had the bigger problem. Although I don't mind spending cash on the car to keep it how it should be £200+ for a new window seemed a bit much. So off to Halfords for some silicone glue/bond for windows.
Costco is good and most fully synthetic oils for the correct spec will do. The number one thing to do is change the oil when needed over any types or make of oil.
I would question Mobil 1 being the best but it is very good and unless you have a race car it will more than do the job.
Just got an ML 270 for its very big boot and lots of old man comforts.
The accelerator peddle is now fixed, to find the kick down would not work (now it hits it). The has lead to a new MAF and inlet manifold.
So just need to get the boot lid sorted and stop the drivers side mirror from...
Thanks for your fast reply dokalj
If you pull the glass at the edge it will come away from the seal and you can see passed the joint e.g if I look from the edge and push from the in side I can see my fingers! I would think it should be bonded to the rear frame?
So was I am asking really is "how...
First post and it's a problem (what am I like).
I have had my ML 270 cdi for about 4 weeks now and have fixed the peddle with a bolt, had the MAF and inlet manifold replaced. But still have a few thing to get right on it.
Every time a closed the boot it sounded like there was some thing...
