    Even more new jokes...

Made me chuckle that, thanks. My late dad was an Old Worksopian public school boy, shipped off to Worksop college to make that transition from boy to educated young man. Lived the rest of his life by the seaside!

Can Mercedes Benz Survive in UK market ?

Waa hooo! We got a live one here! That’s fighting’ talk! 🥷 Ahhh, you’re one of them, OK to express your opinion, but not OK for others to express their differing opinions 🙃 You are indeed entitled to express your opinion, even if it is wrong! 😑🤣 I’m sure if MB decide to ‘do a Mitsubishi’ and...

How serious is Mercedes C class subframe failure?

Is the C207 the first car you’ve had since the Supermirafiori? If you’ve had any others how have they faired with the tinworm?

    S212 rear ride height.

Hi again Pete, Have a look at the below thread I replied to to another member, gives an idea of what’s involved: https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/threads/about-s212-rear-air-suspension-sensor-link.267602/ There’s a link to the rod links I bought from eBay, they were £10 a side when I bought them...

    S212 rear ride height.

No it won’t stay the same if broken, usually the broken side sits up like a monster truck. Did you do the valve block and bags yourself or had someone do it? If your mechanic did it they might have cable tied the Brocken link as a temporary repair?

    S212 rear ride height.

Hi @milleplod So long as it’s the equivalent length of the original it should be fine. I got adjustable ones for mine with a threaded rod with cup and studs so you can have standard or lower/higher. About £10 a side of eBay.

    Air suspension Level sensor

I put some info and pics on this thread (below) for another member, it had the link to for the rods in there. You need to cut the ones down that I bought ‘cos they are universal. They are basically the same set up as most makes of cars for the headlight level sensor, but ours do the suspension...

    Air suspension Level sensor

I think the link rod is now a better metal one, but typically isn’t available separately, it comes with the sensor. One of the OEM plastic ones snapped on my S212 but the sensors were fine, so I just bought a pair of new pair of threaded metal rods with new studs for £20 off of everyone’s...

About me and our 2019 E220 Estate

Welcome and nice choice of car, pics are always good 🙂 seems like your getting used to some quirks! About the headlight washers, they operate with the windscreen wash wipe but only pop out automatically about every 5th or 6th press of the wash wipe. Mines a 2011 E350 estate (S212) and has heated...

    Some strange goings on

+1 for diagram sheet. Mine came folded up in the boot where the jack and wheel brace live. Not sure if yours will be in the same spot, but that’s where it is on a lot of Mercs.

Why isn't my bbq getting hot enough?

Yes that’s it, more of a wood burning oven really. I can’t say I’ve ever asked if it’s hardwood or soft that they put on that fuels them. I will now though, thanks 🙂

Not sure when you’re heading back to metropolis that is the township of Filey, but it’s bloody freezing at present! Back on topic, two friends have brick built pizza ovens in their gardens and they do fantastic pizza, but they do an ‘arf use some fuel. We only have the pizza stone and it works...
