Yep, looked after by MB Southampton.
Had 3 door handle leds replaced at different times.
Front side windows replaced with acoustic glass due to wind noise problem.
Collision prevention sensor replaced after car went into limp home mode.
Whilst in France 18 months ago, locking system completely...
Just back from Pentangle MB.
New 'Offside Front Spring Link Control Arm' fitted.
Excellent service, part in from MB Milton Keynes yesterday & fitted in 1 hour while I waited.
Invoice: Labour £52 - Part £164 - Castellated Nut £1.45 - Plus VAT total was £260.94.
I decided not to ask for an MB...
Just spoke to Rebecca in Mercedes Benz UK customer service department.
She said a contribution was a possibility but I will need to pay the cost of diagnosis.
It will be a gamble as I am sure they will say, as I have had 21000 miles use from the part, they won't cover the full cost.
My car was out of warranty on 26th September 2017.
I had it serviced on 30th October and car was returned with an advisory "O/S/F Spring Link squeal when turning, further diag. required (due: 30/01/2018) - £156"
On handover, the advisory was pointed out but without much explanation and I was...
Just had due 'Service A' carried out, a bit surprised that changing 4 spark plugs costs £111!
On the plus side, the "Greasing sunroof rails" at £23 was carried our free of charge.
Say no to either of these and your Mobilo cover is invalidated.
On collecting the car, I was pleased to find a sheet...
Can someone please confirm whether the W205 C Class Estate has a large but shallow removable tray under the boot floor?
I could have sworn that there was one in my car but have just started packing for a trip, raised the boot floor and no tray - just the space where you can no longer fit a...
Still no change this morning, but, tried just now and success!
Connect store says Live Traffic available for your vehicle. I went through the purchase routine, (1 year @ £39 as I will change to a GLC sometime in the coming year).
Also, on my Mercedes me webpages, I now have 13 services...
Calling that number was my very first action and, yes, they are very helpful but are reliant on their techies for the actual fix.
I phoned it again yesterday and was assured my problem resolution was in hand. He said it has been escalated twice, presumably in response to my requests for...
Still no fix from Mercedes me.
Contacted again but via message option on Mercedes me website.
Got a quick response from 'Lena' who said she could see no problem at her end and would pass to technical support.
I then sent her a screen grab showing the 'Not available for your vehicle' message...
Will do, just checked but no change yet.
I thought it worth posting this as my car must have been an early one as reg date is 26/09/2014 so one of the first to reach this point?
Got excited when I saw options for online map & software updates on the Connect store but I read that it's not for...
I had a GLC 250 for the day whilst my W205 C Class was serviced and really liked it.
In view of all the many posts on the wheel scrubbing problem, should I avoid all GLCs or are some people happy with theirs?
Is it most noticeable with particular wheel/tyre sizes?
As per title, message flashed up on Comand Nav screen telling me I now have to renew my subscription.
Logged in to 'Mercedes me' and redirected to Connect store.
As usual, my details port across including reg number and services activated.
On live traffic order page, my reg number shows but...
Have now done a further 1000 miles on the Michelins.
All initial impressions confirmed.
Perhaps it's a bit ott to say the car is transformed but the difference in comfort and noise levels is huge.
Was thinking of changing cars and have had a few test drives but will now keep...
I sourced the Michelins from Black Circles with fitting at my local garage.
They were cheaper on the website than the Bridgestones.
Also, BlackCircles only had stock of Bridgestones in the size for one axle, can't remember if it was front or back.
That clinched it and, as I am in France from...
After driving another 40 miles I can confirm that it is no illusion, the ride is much more compliant on the new Michelins.
It is only by comparison that I realise how harsh the ride had got on the Bridgstones as the deterioration happened gradually over 18 months.
Really pleased with the...
