Wednesday this week was a momentous occasion- my lad bought his first Mercedes- a late 2005 C180K Classic. Yes, I’m biased, but it’s in really good nick, bar one or two niggly faults. It has electric mirrors which also fold, except they don’t. When you press the fold button, or...
Hi Spike good to hear from you.
To answer your questions:
Spark - yes
Fuses are all fine
Where is the fuel pump relay? What do I need to bridge?
Caps & rotors fine
Got a link to the Ovp Test?
I had Green Flag here a while back. They checked the basics, and if you squirt fuel into the...
I posted last year about my poorly SL - it's a 1990 with the MBSS and UK immobiliser. I've still got the non-starting issue with it. About time I got it sorted for summer!
Basically- I think the immobiliser has its knickers in a twist as the engine will turn over but won't start. The...
Right, Just waved Green Flag goodbye. We've got a bit further.

Sadly, no good. Richard also mentioned in another thread pulling fuse 5 and trying to...
Been a while! I hope everyone is well?
I've got a problem with my SL - I suspect it is immobiliser related but hope someone can offer me some advice. I went to start my car earlier and as it has been a while, I let the immobiliser kick in so the engine would turn and not fire. I...
Common problem on the M119 engine. Later distributor caps have better seals (I am told) and so reduce this particular issue.
Also, if you ever need to replace them, get the BOSCH part rather than going to the stealer for the MB part - they are one and the same save an MB badge and an MB part...
