Just traded in my now old and tired W203 for something newer. Actually its just one year old a few days ago. Had for a couple of weeks now so had time to adjust to my new toy.
While I loved my old 54 plate W203 - it was a nice colour and had a nice spec which included sunroof, rain sensing...
Apologies if this is a repeat question, but here goes anyway.
My son has just bought himself a nearly new laptop with windows 8.1 as its operating system.
He has a free option of upgrading to windows 10.
Is it a worthwhile thing to do - is 10 much better than 8.1 ??
Thanks in advance...
This must be the ultimate proof that the honours system is a waste of space.
Why on earth should a second rate "actress" that appeared in second rate films and second rate TV shows receive any honour ??
There MUST be far far more deserving people that should get honoured above her.
Has anyone here have any first hand experience of insulating a glass conservatory roof ???
My daughter and son-in-law are in the process of considering having their large conservatory heated for winter use.
I have told them its best to get the roof insulated first as heat loss will be huge...

Drove down there today and they quickly replaced the old broken screen for bright shiny new screen.
I do believe the new screen has better resolution, better...

My main lounge TV is an LCD LG 42LH2000-ZA. Its now about 3 years old and I am very happy with the TV generally. I would really like to upgrade to smart TV, but I cannot justify the cost.
All I really want a smart TV for is for watching catch-up TV.
I dont watch films, nor do I need it to...
I will shortly be the ripe age of 64.

Sounds quite grand, but...
Just bought myself a new camera/camcorder.
I am chuffed to bits with it.
Its produces better quality results than my original Panasonic camcorder that I bought in 1988 for nearly £1300.
Its got a few shortfallings, but for the most part will serve me well for several years. I have attached a...

I am getting totally FED UP with incessant phone calls telling me that I "may" be able to claim for compensation.....etc.....etc.
I get them on my home phone (even though I am ex-directory) and mobile.
Up to now I have been civil and told them thanks but no thanks.
I am now beginning to get to...

My 24 year old son has just got himself a very nice new (to him) car.
Therefore he went on some of the comparison websites to get insurance quotes.
I could not believe the variation in quotes for exactly the same data.
Lowest was about £960 :thumb:
Highest was just over £8100
