Get a good long test drive in a well-equipped W205 C63 with the switchable exhaust and see how you feel about it afterwards.
I traded my W204 C63 for the new one, and they're worlds apart in tech and driving.
Could do with some advice.
My 66 plate C63 is giving me the low battery warnings. Car still starts ok but had been left for about a week. I had it on charge for around 6 hours yesterday using a Noco Genius G1100 on the AGM mode (1.1A that I bought primarily for my bikes). The battery indicator...
Not wanting to thread-jack, but I could do with some advice.

It knows exactly where I am, the screen just shows me ploughing across fields and rivers where there's now a road.
I guess the point I'm making is that I've paid for live traffic updates (and suggested diversions where roads are blocked) and I'm not going to get them on my regular route unless I...
Bit of a thread revival here, but I'm in the same situation needing a map update.
I've just renewed my "Live Traffic updates" via the MercedesMe portal, and I'd initially thought this would also include map updates.
The reason I say this is that I regularly use a newly opened by-pass that isn't...
Worth getting checked, although these cars are set up with a lot of camber, apparently to provide better high speed cornering stability.
This thread might be worth a read !
Can speed humps really do this ?
There's no doubt that the M5 is a very capable (and fast) car, it's just that it's a bit dull to drive unless you're really on it all of the time.
The AMGs can be fiendishly quick too, but they also give more smiles per mile in everyday driving (and are better road cars).
Let's just try to be positive here and welcome a new member into the fold.
I suspect there's a few of us on here who've come from M division to AMG (myself included).
Some stay and others return or go elsewhere.
Personally I don't regret buying AMG in the least. IMHO the "proper" AMG cars are...
Again, this video is looking specifically at vehicles with a slush-drive torque converter ?
The C63 also goes into coast mode when in C when coming off the throttle even at high speed (in fact it's a bit annoying).
It still doesn't seem quite right to sit in traffic with the clutch plates...
Correct, except the first one only discussed cars with a conventional torque converter, and then got bogged down with dazzling brake lights! I wanted to know what people's thoughts were for cars with the wet clutch transmissions, which when I asked in the first thread just seemed to kill it dead.
This is what I was wondering about. With the wet clutch transmissions do you run the risk of wearing the clutches? (as you would if riding the clutch in a manual car) Bear in mind that the car wants to creep forward if sitting in D, so there must be some (minimal ?) contact between the clutch...
