And for stable mats we have used industrial conveyor belting its really, really heavy but lasts for ages, this could also be a consideration if you need something hardwearing.

    Covering garage floor

My new house is just being completed and I have this decision to make for myself, In my current garage I have rubber interlocking tiles and they have been ideal while messing with classic cars etc but I wont be doing that any longer so have decided to go down the route of Amtico/Karndene vinyl...

    UK BATTERY PLANT

The daft thing is Nissan Sunderland builds cars and ships them all over the world its not just a UK supplier, Its all down to efficiency and Nissan Sunderland is well known to be the most efficient plant in the world, which is why there was no way it was going to close after Brexit. The other...

    UK BATTERY PLANT

Well as Nissan is just up the road from me I can only quote figures I know, but Nissan currently employ over 6,000 people with more on the way. In addition other manufacturers supplying Nissan add up to another 27,000 jobs, because Nissan like most other car manufacturers only build cars and...

    Loud Thumping Noise

Prop shaft seams the obvious, but also have a look at any under body covers that might be loose, it could just be osculating in the wind as you drive.

    SL400 R231 Chips/Re-mapping

Out of curiosity has anyone had a chipped R231 on a dyno to see what it actually puts out? A 333HP version I mean.

    SL400 R231 Chips/Re-mapping

Hi Guys, I hadn't thought of it myself but a friend asked if I intended to get the SL chipped. Then of course you have to look into it:cool: Well apparently the normal gain with a chip is 20% so taking my 333BHP to 400BHP, a very reasonable increase. Has anyone done this; to a R231 2015...

    Nankang tyres- issue

Personally I wouldn't consider using them in the first place. You hit the nail on the head, its definitely a safety issue, when buying tyres I only ever use mainstream brands, I've never even heard of these! They are your only contact between the road an you, don't skimp on tyres!

Electric 4x4 cars going off road !

In simple terms no! I have an EQC and the ground clearance is rubbish you could never take it off road, one of my friend in the Yorkshire Dales lives off grid so about two miles up a track, I bottomed out more than once going up there the other week. And its very heavy 2.5 tones, I wouldn't...

    About w213

Not disagreeing with you just giving the facts as I have them. I didn't cover many miles with that car, so it only did 59,000 in the four years I had it.

    About w213

I had a 2017, E220d 9 speed estate for 4 years. Basically the same car. Mine was the SE Premium with a few other extras thrown at it, because the SE had leather and the AMG had run flats and artificial leather for some reason. The only problems I had with it were the drivers window played up...

    EQC ordered - can't wait!

Whatever charger you go for, make sure you can programme into it a charging schedule so you can make the most out of cheap overnight electric. Some don't have this facility for some reason.
