2012 E Class, replace running light, diy job?

Hi all I've searched but only found posts about adding after-market. can anyone tell me if it's a diy job to replace the running lights? one has failed, lasted pretty well I think? would you just replace the one, or do 2 at same time (especially if it's more garage job) if other likely to go...

is there any way to find out what auto transmission these are?

thank you :) it's not something i'd choose to drive, but this is just 2 years of me getting from AtoB! £280 road tax is a bit hefty though... after the 2 years, we're likely to be getting rid of our lovely E350 cabrio as diesel won't suit us down in Cornwall, I've got my eye on one of these...

is there any way to find out what auto transmission these are?

thanks :) i've found some useful info now on the HonestJohn forum, people asking similar. just need to get my head around what type of gearbox they're talking about now as they're obviously all far more knowledgeable than me! i'll work my way through the info later...

is there any way to find out what auto transmission these are?

Ford/CVT makes sense with what i've been told. i was just looking at Suzuki & they seem to have a crossover with a few other marques. i'm beginning to understand that my mission to find a runabout is a bit more complex than i thought! that's for replying :)

is there any way to find out what auto transmission these are?

i had found a low miles Mazda2, but it was a bit older than ideally wanted & it had accident damage. do they have same parts as Ford? been advised not to look at Fiesta/Fusion, which i'd initially thought as ideal, as auto box very poor.

is there any way to find out what auto transmission these are?

can't say that a Panda has been on my radar at all! it might be a little on the small side, there's only 1 on auto-trader within travelling distance so likely to be very limited availability.

is there any way to find out what auto transmission these are?

if it sounds like i know what i'm talking about, trust me, i don't! so all help will be greatly received. i need to buy a small'ish car to tide me over in Cornwall until we make the full time move there in roughly 2 years time. only needed for short journeys, perhaps 150 miles per month. it has...

hoping ours will too, i've just emailed her war & peace on why i really don't want to have to pay any personal tax to HMRC thank you very much! i'm just looking at the tax position overall, company & personal, & what we actually end up with in our pockets at the end.

    any Ltd Co. owners/directors here?

this relates to Directors of Ltd Co. with employees - salary/dividend split 2016 onwards. anyone changing from the usual low salary & majority paid by dividend now the new rules are here? those with a basic tax code of 1100L, £8052 gross annual salary & £5000 dividend with no other income = no...

quick update in case anyone searches in future. car been in for her 3 year interim service & MOT this week, i asked for the trim & a few rusty wheel nuts to be looked at under warranty. wheel nuts replaced straight away & photo's of trim sent to MBUK for claim. chrome window trim, replaced under warranty?

the chrome coloured trim at the bottom of the windows, i'm guessing it's plastic & not actually metal? it's got sort of watermark stains on it, slightly cloudy looking. not too bad, but i notice it! i've googled it & it seems to be a common problem across various makes with 'car wash detergent'...

    What pressure washer?

thanks Carl :) i did actually give it a go with the wash & wax i'd got from cleanstore, used neat, as they advised. sprayed it all over then went over with my wash mit. it cleaned ok but left water marks all over, i hadn't left it long before drying it either, so obviously not suitable to use...

    What pressure washer?

the centennial version that i've got has a flow rate of 520, so i'm guessing that's ok as the one you've linked to is 500 (& more than twice what i paid!). don't think i can justify £65 on a new hose when i only paid £90 for the machine, not for what i'll be using for it anyway. any advice on...

    What pressure washer?

hmmm, getting a little confused & am not overly impressed with this at the moment! before i purchased from cleanstore, i checked how to use the wash & wax that they sell, do you use diluted or neat? i got a bit of a garbled reply advising a ratio for using as a handwash with a bucket & also a...

    What pressure washer?

i've just ordered my 1st ever pressure washer, a nilfisk from cleanstore. i've gone for the wash & wax solution they do too, the 'no need to dry' might be too good to be true, but we'll see. stupid question time now :o, i presume i can't just use a normal wash&wax solution in the foam sprayer...
