I have a 42 year old Japanese motorbike with original clear laquered engine parts. How does it stay on when modern alloy wheels only survive for a few years? Aluminium needs an etch primer to seal it before painting. This cannot be done if the finish is clear.

Hi all, Should the windows on my r170, fall and rise slightly when the doors are opened and closed? It happens on other Mercedes models older than mine, and if I drop the windows slightly, it is much easier to close the doors without slamming them!

Just had it confirmed that the E-Bay item for Oil to suit Eaton M45 Supercharger (seller powerhouse-uk) is a Mobil Jet Oil 2 equivalent.

Anyone know a supplier of quality chrome wheel bolts? The MB originals are pretty poor and all the online radius seat bolts for sale appear to be zinc plated.

Is there likely to be a factory fitted wiring loom hidden in the boot of an '02 SLK for a CD changer? I intend to update the head unit, and it would be nice to match it to a CD changer.
