IMO the track wasn't great on Saturday. I managed to just get into the 11's in my Stage 1 RS3, but I was hoping for better tbh. Another day, another chance. If drag strip running was that easy, we'd all be getting the best time, every time. Shame you got choked out by a poxy hatchback Eddie! :D

I moved from an A45 to an RS3 a couple of months back. For me, the RS3 is a better car.

Update the TCU map Eddie and then VBOX. Any differences and I'll give you a reach round on the house. ;) TCU snake oil...... we've been here before! :D

Have stayed away from the forums until I start the project off, but I have joined the AUDIRS3OC forum. Unfortunately they're only about the RS3.

Whilst I might be stating the obvious here (although I could be misreading what you've typed).... you do realise that car was returned to STOCK when I sold it. If you think it's mental now..... that's nothing to what it was like and could be like again if you chose to follow my tuning route. :D

Yep. Limited by the transmission, I was unable to progress much further. Due to this boredom soon set in unfortunately. The A45 is a great car, but not a modders delight.

Well...... it's time to move on guys and girls. A45 has been sold and I pick-up my brand spanking new RS3 this Saturday. Time for the next project! lol

To be fair it will probably be a mix of gearing, extra weight (the RS6 is over 2ton! Ha) and what it loses in the transmission over RWD. It's still pretty damn impressive for an estate! ha The C63 is certainly an impressive piece of kit though.

Managed to "finish off" the aero upgrade on the A45 today and fitted the rear vent flicks. All done now.
