After about 5 miles or so of driving, I'm getting a judder from the NS rear wheel which sounds as though the wheel is about to come off. Upon inspection the disc is red hot (as in glowing). Once 'hot' it's there all the time, whether driving or braking. I'm all set to buy new discs and pads but...

Ordered new side repeaters as one of mine is letting in water (letting in water, letting in water). Also a Mann oil filter and a Bosch air filter to tide me over until I get a K&N.

The faded grey plastic insert in my grille had a bit of a treat today as I took it out and painted it black. I can do a detailed description if anyone is interested as I took pics at each step. Quick & easy to do and makes a big difference to the front of my car. From this: To this:

Looks great! I've thought about painting my boot badge and grille black instead of chrome. I'd keep the original grille though and restore/paint a used one.

I used my old RAC card to scrape the green stuff of the edge (slide it between the glass and the rubber) and then clean with a cloth and some good rubber protectant (I use Meguiars). Works a treat and your windows will go up and down easier too.
