I gave the maf sensor a good clean also cleaned the pipework with a carburetor cleaner made a difference,ill give it a trial run later.thanks Paul.

I have a c240 1998, v 6, the car seems to want to accelerate on its own if I hold the throttle at fifty mph for a while she will creep up to sixty if I blip the throttle she will stay there apart from this runs fine , hoping some knowledgeable member can help me.

Probably on about the serpentine belt which drive's the auxiliaries.

I saw on one of the forums a chap with the door card removal tool using that,so did the same

I've changed 4 cylinders with eight plugs,wondered if there was a difference in the back two when they go around the engine.

I think it must be 3and 6 spark plugs

I have a c 240 1998, 2-4 would any member have any info on removal of the 2 back end plug boots,mine are solid.

Thankyou Dec it was the one in the boot that wasn't working.

1998 facelift

My rear interior courtesy light doesn't work, could any knowledgeable member tell me if it is connected to the front dome light or its own circuit I've changed the bulbs in front and rear interiors. I have tried both door switches to no avail .w/202 c240.

Every so often I get a beeping noise in my w202 c class it just comes and goes mostly on deceleration ,a bit annoying sometimes, any help very grateful.
