    C350e anyone considering one?

Very nice lucky guy.......I guess I'll just be like the poor kid outside the sweet shop......looking, smelling but not having lol. Looks very very very nice in blue

    W205 C220 v C200 122,132 miles to break even

Maybe because diesel looks cheaper on running. More mpg and lower tax. I was considering the petrol over the diesel until I saw the hybrid version. Go on many a forum and the general response will be unless doing over 18k a year then diesel doesn't make sense. Not with the advances in petrol...

Looks very nice in the blue and the interior offsets it well.

Any plans for a A Class PHEV ?

The b class isn't a PHEV as it's pure electric no internal combustion engine, at the moment only the C350e and S500e. I'd guess that either a PHEV or Electric will be offered in the A class at some stage as hybrids become more popular.

About sums up my look on it too. Also from a private buyer point of view the mercedes is cheaper monthly due to its good GFV. Where as the Mitsubishi is very low. Will agree at motorway speed it's noisey, off the mark it's ok but there is a sluggish part as you go up the Rev range. But around...

The one that has been running since the 1st of April, I'm not disputing you JBD, sorry if it came across like that just telling about my experience and what I've been told by a dealership. Personally from experience from buying a new car in the past I've never known this to happen. Like...

    C350e anyone considering one?

JBD the above is my point, maybe I'm expecting my cake and to eat it aswel, but prove is about that there is and has been discount on the car. A few dealers have confirmed this up until it comes to signing a deal or should I say getting in writing the figures, then all of a sudden it's been...

    C350e anyone considering one?

From a local dealer buy, MB have stopped all discount on this model, so personally I refuse to pay list price on a car. Looked at leasing and yes is cheaper a month but for myself I'd rather own the car or at least have the option to

    C350e anyone considering one?

As for the other questions, this is the issue with not having any demo's in the country yet. Recharge on the go, again going from the PHEV will use about 3 litres of fuel to charge it.....which I think is only to 80%, this is information supplied by the dealer. Consumption with out the...

I would guess that the system wouldn't let the battery go totally flat. In the PHEV I test drove it would run on battery until a certain point, at that point the engine kicked in. But there was still battery power left albeit a small amount.

    Tracker vs Gap Insurance

Personally after seeing some of the police programmes and how they treat your pride and joy I'd rather go for GAP and get a new car. Personally I've never made a claim but I've taken a policy out on my last 2 new cars just in case.

Just out of interest, people that have ordered the C350e is it lease or private sale (if so on finance or cash sale). Also did you get a deal at a discounted price or list price.

New car decision pretty mucn made!

It seems that those that have gone down the leasing route have been fine, but the few that have gone down the buying route have had issues. I thought about private leasing but I'd rather have the choice of owning it.

Hope it works out. At least it appears you have a good dealer, sadly my experience has left me with little desire for a MB.

As JBD said forget the C350e. And really start your dealing now. I starting in March and still can't get the car I want.

Carwow dealers have let me down twice now......though to be honest no better than my local dealers. I'm not even set in stone on delivery date, in can be later in the year but like I've said before a deal can never be arranged due to the open delivery/availability.

I'd consider placing an order now, and delivery times appear to be increasing.

Audi will be ok as shifting off the old model before the new one arrives. But in all honesty I'd rather have the Skoda Octavia mk3 over the A4, it's really showing it's age now.

    C350e anyone considering one?

Not really the end of the world for me. I've come to the conclusion that whatever I go for I'm not going to get it by September. So I might as well look about and see what else is about. Just means that I'll have to rent a car for a week or two for visiting family.
