anyone tell me if a 10j et35 rim will fit the front of an SL55? Im changing alloys and I have the option of 10j square setup or 8.5/10. Im unsure if a 10j rim will squeeze on the front or not! any help would be great, thanks

wouldn't say much confidence is even required! if you can operate a ratchet and a few sockets anyone could do this! Saved me a few £££ and perhaps will save some other people some £££ too the split cooling mod wouldn't be too hard either I don't think, give it a go!

no, im referring to the tensioner for the supercharger belt on an SL55 AMG, its a metal pulley. Probably should have said what car I was working on!lol

e55 has a shorter wing or something so i think you will pull them off better, they may look a bit lost on a an SL. Dont suppose you could meansure the length of the badge if you get a chance and il see how it compares in size to the v8kompressor badge!

i seen the 5.5 amg badges but im not sure if they would suit the SL, would rather the kompressor badges back on i think! I have a spare wing with badges there that il maybe practice on first, if it all goes pete tong il maybe try an ebay badge

his is 2003, mine is 2005, neither have the mod done, his is silent and mine makes a racket! il maybe give the dealer a call and see as its not in the historyas being replaced ever.

my old fella has an sl55 amg with 6000 miles on it, it doesnt make any noise, which is why i assumed something was wrong, il try the damper kit and if that doesnt cure it il head to the stealer :(
