I placed the order for my GLE 450 back in March, the dealership has updated me that it's built and expected at the dealers from 22nd August, so should be in it the first week of September.

Sorry if this a daft question - I've ordered a new GLE450 and the dealers have indicated a build date of 27th July - what does 'build date' actually mean? Is it the day it starts to be built, or the end production date? How long does a GLE take to be built anyway?

NOx sensor failure (MWL) on my CLS 400 (W218) 2015 - dealer diagnosed and said that the tier 1 extended warranty will cover these, but have been waiting for just over 2 months now as the dealer says there is no stock in Germany and are on back order!

My build date has been pushed back from 26th April until July, not sure what the issue is at the factory in Alabama?

Hi, I posted a question here regarding an embargo on the latest GLE 450 - any advice or comments appreciated.

So that's a bit strange then - I've specified the car and options, colour etc., signed the order and paid the deposit, after all that then the sales guy says about the embargo - maybe he's hedging me waiting 4/5 months instead of getting one in the dealership group? I'll call Stratford MB...

I have a CLS400 owned since new 2015 and I'm looking at the new one. But the UK version is lower spec than, say, one purchased in Germany (no cross stitch seats, only 2 wheel choices etc). Why is that?
