    C350e owners club

It's a shame as I have really enjoyed my C350e and really wanted a E version but as it wasn't available I ordered a Volvo S90 T8 hybrid which I am collecting on Friday.

What do you want to know?

Can the new specifications be ordered now though JBD? I have a meeting planned to the dealer tomorrow.

What do you want to know?

JBD All hybrid options have disappeared from the Merc website, C350e and E350e? Do you know what's occurring?

I did have a tuning chip fitted about a year ago, it wasn't as straight forward as the common rail diesel chips that just plug in I'd used before so had it installed by Tdi-Tuning.co.uk Although they advertised the kit as a quick install plug and play without a lot of technical knowledge...

    C350 re map worth it??

I've not noticed any difference with economy, 80% of the time I drive it in eco or comfort anyway. Cost was £320. I had Tdi fit it as it's a lot more complicated to fit than a diesel system which would just plug into the common rail.

    C350 re map worth it??

I had mine chipped sometime ago by TDI Tuning. I can remove it when it goes in to the Stealer and definitely can tell the difference. TDI reckon that it increases performance to 330 BHP I think from memory, from the resulting extra kick in the pants I wouldn't dispute it but of course...

    C350e charging system corrosion poll

Ditto! Since mine was repaired have had no further issues. Now at 27K miles and all is well.

Yes I noticed a difference when in eco mode on the motorway, I've not tried it in Sports + and lets face it it's insanely fast without anyway in that mode. Definitely could feel the difference when relying just on engine performance. Will drive it for a couple of days without the chip in...

    C350e owners club

Had a nervous few hours today when my car went in for its second service at 25K miles. I'd removed my tuning chip but decided to leave the extra wiring that connects it to the loom, couldn't really see it except for a blue label on one of the cable protectors that proudly stated "Boost" All...

    Another C350e owner.

You can also scroll through music tracks or radio stations by pressing the middle button at the back of the useless touch pad, this will show a little menu no matter what screen you are in. You can use the wheel to scroll though tracks etc then.

    W205 illuminated door handles

I had two replaced during the first service on my C350e saloon. Will be checking them as the nights get darker and before the next service, I think they are rather cool.

I'm 6ft 4 ins and have no problem at all with headroom, I love the sunroof, significant other laughs at the frequency that I open and close it. It's my first car with a sunroof for ages, it's fab. Love the way it changes the angle when going at speed to reduce noise and the fact you can...

Hi Jaid2016 Problem with our car is its multifaceted nature, usually I drive in Eco or Comfort with the occasional Sport or Sport+ when I am in the mood and SWMBO isn't in the car. With the chip it's bloody quick, but it's bloody quick anyway. to be honest I'm not sure how much...

Clearly Halesowen is the in place to be! Have taken some photos of my chip installation and will post when I can work out how to do it :) Performance is much stronger. Will take the chip off over the weekend to see how much difference there is, it's pretty quick normally anyway as we know.

I've had this before and switched to Sports mode makes the engine kick back in, did this and then back to comfort.

Hi JAT350e, my office is in Halesowen although not sure how we could test them except by drag racing :) Besides which would need to wait for some drier weather to get some decent traction!

    C350e owners club

I considered a 330d but went for the C350e due to the BiK benefits and the spec is much nicer, on what I could afford anyway. Thing is with the C350e is it's many different cars in one, drag racing from the lights is entertaining but it's the limo like feel of the air suspension coupled with...

It definitely feels faster, still not unleashed much as mostly had Mrs Quonker in the car but the few times I planted my right foot the response did feel much stronger, acceleration felt more urgent and pull was much stronger than usual. Difficult this afternoon as the wet roads meant wheel...

I had it fitted, was a lot more prolonged than expected, took 2 hours from start to finish and revolved around moving the charge cooler to access the plug. Far cry from when I originally rang and they told me I could fit it myself in 15 minutes. They've fitted an extension lead into the...
