    The Martian.

It's based on the novel written by Andy Weir. Fantastic book I hope Matt Damon will deliver a good play - beside a dramatic background, the main character is positively crazy.

MB on- line parts database (?)

Hi all, I need to order a few little parts to finish a w123 I just restored and I was hoping to find a database on-line similar to bmw realoem, which is for free and available for everyone. Well, I found that such a thing doesn't exist for MB cars well until you want to pay an annual fee...

Powder coated calipers - keeping them clean

Try Finish Kare High-Temp 1000p, I use it on wheels and it's perfect. When applied correctly might help you shift all the dirt easier.

    filling up

Try not to fit the nozzle at the full depth, try to hold it before it reaches the bottom and operate the handle. No risk of spilling out as the nozzle is still deep in the neck.

    W460 body kit advice needed

The front bumper is not going to look good, never. It belongs to a different car. The rear bumper can work if aligned/mounted properly. The wheels... It looks drastically awful imo.

Repair a W201 AMG body kit?

I can't help with the list but cracked plastic can be fixed easy by mentioned method. Actually I wouldn't call it - plastic welding. It's being done by a special powerfull heater which melts cracked sides (cleaned properly before that) then a plastic rod/filler is applied through the nozzle of...

    A stunning E500 W124.

The MiM alloys are looking nice. Tbh their condition looks better than their design but this is only my opinion. Are the rear wheels running on some spacers then? Also, this is the first time I hear that Italians supplied their wheels to any German car manufacturer as an option (apart from...

    A stunning E500 W124.

So here it is. Beautiful car it has to run like a dream! I'm only not sure about twin exhaust exit pipes, on some pics they look too long/big, could be more subtle. Are these wheels staggered? Are the rear wheels wider than front ones?

Thanks! W123 was sprayed in hell blue, bloody expensive colour but it pays off every time I look at it. It's so reach in metallic and respond to the amount of light in a very, very nice way.

    W124 Restoration

Nice build and a proper commitment to your favourite car for all these years! Re ride height I think you have to address the rear axle height only as the front looks good (not too low to keep some comfort)

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. Here are the pictures of my 87 528i SE which I restored 3 years ago, rolling on 16" big Remotec A wheels at the moment. The restoration work on the w123 is speeding up as well, a picture from last night. I'll make a thread in a relevant...

Fire Opal Mercedes C Class Coupe Paint Cracking

I have to agree with Robfen100, it looks like it's been under some pressure due to a "knock" and the paint cracked. Take it to the dealer anyway, you've got nothing to loose.

    Craziest 126 Modification EVER.

It's Mad, lol. Just noticed it's heavily modified body. Front doors are shorter than the rear ones which makes it looking like a limo car but its length is the same as saloon. Under closer inspection I can see the B-post has been left at the same place, mad indeed :)

Hi all! I'm Adam and I'm classic car enthusiast and a body-shop owner. I used to own a few Mercs in the past and at the moment I'm restoring w123 200 from 1983. My brother is a proper MB enthusiast, used to have w124 coupe 300-24v and he's drive at the moment is w210 It was sprayed last...
